Transcription is charged by the length of your footage, 10 credits a minute; AI translation by usage; AI subtitles cost nothing extra. You see an estimate before you submit.

Am I charged when something fails?

No. Each step is charged only when it succeeds. If a translation doesn’t finish, you keep the transcript, and translating again doesn’t charge for the transcription twice.

Is the video I review with uploaded?

No. The local file you open while reviewing only plays in your browser, next to the subtitles.

Can I use it without a plan?

Yes. Buy credits at the base price or redeem a gift card. A plan adds credits every month and makes extra credits cheaper.
